Location, Location

Sometime in the next few years, I'm going to have several servers dedicated to this project. I've started giving some thought to where I'm going to locate these. Below are my choices and my rough evaluations of each:

At Home:

Pros: Convienent, Possibly cheapest option.

Cons: Moderately insecure, heat and power problems, noise, consumes limited living space.


Rented Office Space:

Pros: Eliminates concerns about heat, power, and noise; frees up living space.

Cons: Expensive, moderately insecure, less convienent.


Owned Office Space:

Pros: Eliminates concerns about heat, power, and noice, frees up living space, greater security.

Cons: Even more expensive, less convienent.

Build A Dedicated Property:

Pros: Maximum of above mentioned pros. (Nearly ideal)

Cons: Very Expensive. Probably least convienent in terms of physical access.
